Johnny

Looks like Johnny's back on the map with his performance in Sweeny Todd which I haven't had the opportunity to see yet. Started roughing out a digital paint of him...like Denzel, he seems to be a tough capture.

He is tough, but I think you nailed the basics so far...and Sweeney Todd was quite a visual/auditory stunner---

When I do some blog cruising , for a treat as starter ,I always begin by a visit to Mr Altamore .Wonderful Johnny ,your drawings are so terrific Vincent I almost miss them when they disappear on the final piece.By the way great song I suppose will see this year if we can hope for some mercy.

Thanks so much Patrick!!! Even though I may not comment on every post your blog is a daily stop as well...your work is always an inspiration my friend!!!

I'm sure Ms. Gauthier appreciates your comment also...she's another one of those talents that goes fairly unrecognized...a shame, but that's usually the life of an artist.

Along with some mercy we can hope those who blow themselves up while taking the lives of innocent bystanders, in the name of an ideology that offers them paradise by doing so, finally realize how senseless their actions are.

The colours are beautiful!!!! So delicate.
I believe that his eyes could be a bit more prominent,
if you don't mind me saying....

Vincenzo said...

Thank you Marion...and comments and critiques are always welcome from you my friend. I still have a ways to go so I'll look at the eyes in the final go-round.

All the best

Thanks Milenko...again glad to see you posting again...always great to see new stuff from you...and I told you I love that Liv Lindeland, we shared many hours together in Mom & Pops bathroom!!

Hey John, thanks for stopping by and no it's not your imagination, I did post a few updates. Unfortunately I keep getting sidetracked so I haven't had time to work on it (I'm sure you know what that's like)...hopefully I'll get a couple of days this week to knock it off.

All the best Guys!
