It's a great honor to have my Johnny Depp caricature included in the 2008 CA Illustration Annual. As always the work showcased on it's pages is outstanding and just to be in there with all that talent is incredible.

Thanks again!! I wasn't to happy with the print version though. Certainly not CA's fault...I did the CMYK conversion and the colors went cold. You'd think with all the high end digital printers at work I would've printed a few proofs and tweaked it till it was right.
I was just so happy to have been accepted I rushed the file into the mail...proverbial water under the bridge now!

You do have to pay an entry fee when submitting a piece. The work is then judged and if not accepted then you have to say yourself "maybe next year"...and forget about the new "kicks" you were going to buy with that money!!
It really is an honor Nels...I've been trying to get something in there for years...I guess I got lucky and caught the judges when they were sleep deprived!
