Scarlett Again?

Since I wasn't too happy how the first one turned out I gave her another shot. Tried to stretch it a bit but of course I always have a problem with that. Anyhow, I'll put her to rest now...well maybe :)

*...Okay, I'm still obsessed with this one...it's so damn frustrating when you feel you can't get it right :(
So I'm updating this post with another (still a W.I.P.) and my wife likes this one so at least that's a good sign I'm on the right track.

I'm not sure on the likeness but all my drawings seem to miss the mark.
Her hair is a big factor too for some reason too.
Still its a killer rendering, with a good likeness.
I'm a fan.

Brilliant drawing Vince! Actually I see a little bit of Kate Winslet in there too... or maybe I'm loosing it. I don't know what SJ looks like anymore!

Awesome!
I love your rendering and, well, everything else about it.
And the previous stuff I have missed looks awesome too. Those little sketches you did few posts down sure taught me a thing or two.

Cheers to your awesome skill and thanks for sharing,

Regards,

Milenko

Thank you!! I'm not very happy with the likeness though and my inability to get at least a fair stretch out of this...let's say it's been a struggle, as my waste paper basket can attest to.

Cheers my Brother!!!...and the only thing I can imagine that my little sketches have taught you my talented friend is what a sin it is to waste a good piece of paper (which you never do!)

NiallThanks Mate! I tried a new brush that was included with Marta Dahlig's tutorial in the May issue of Imagine FX. It's very subtle...I liked it!
